Manage your stress before it is too late

Understanding your stress level is the first step towards making important lifestyle changes. Cortisol, the stress hormone, plays a crucial role in your body's response to stress. High cortisol levels can disrupt sleep and impact your overall well-being. Whether you’re going through a particularly stressful period or living with unconscious chronic stress, it is often hard to know when to take a break. Prioritizing your well-being and optimizing your stress levels to improve your lifestyle is crucial to live a long and healthy life.

Optimal Cortisol Curve

Optimal Cortisol Curve

Optimal diurnal cortisol pattern is characterized by balanced levels throughout the day, indicating a healthy stress response and overall well-being.

Chronic Stress

Chronic Stress

Disrupted cortisol curve associated with chronic stress displays persistently elevated cortisol levels that may impact your physical and mental health.

Burnout

Burnout

Cortisol curve linked to burnout reveals exhausted adrenal glands and a flattened diurnal pattern, highlighting the long-term effects of chronic stress and exhaustion.

What results do I get?

You'll get your test results on the Macromo app, showing your cortisol levels throughout the day. Using this info, you can understand how you handle stress and learn new, scientifically-backed ways to reduce it.

Cortisol curve

The Diurnal Cortisol Curve provides a comprehensive understanding of your body's stress response throughout the day. By measuring your Morning, Afternoon, and Evening Cortisol levels within a single test, you gain a holistic picture of your daily stress patterns. Deviations from optimal levels can indicate chronic stress, hormonal imbalances, or other health concerns.

Morning cortisol

Understanding your Morning Cortisol levels is crucial to start your day on the right foot. High morning cortisol levels can indicate chronic stress or an overactive stress response, while low levels may suggest hormonal imbalances or adrenal insufficiency.

Afternoon cortisol

Maintaining balanced cortisol levels throughout the day is essential for overall well-being. Measuring your Afternoon Cortisol levels provides valuable information about how your cortisol fluctuates in the middle of the day. Disrupted afternoon cortisol levels can be associated with chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, or other medical conditions.

Evening cortisol

Unwinding and promoting restful sleep is key to overall well-being. Measuring your Evening Cortisol levels offers insights into how your body winds down and prepares for a night of rejuvenating sleep. Elevated cortisol levels at bedtime can contribute to sleep problems and insomnia.
